Harrogate Borough Council when extending their existing Cemetery and creating a new Garden Of Remembrance took the opportunity to include elements of public art within their proposals.These are a set of gates commissioned for the Forest Lane entrance to the Cemetery, the gates incorporate water washed boulders and pebbles , clasped jewel like by the forged ironwork.
Forging of the gates was undertaken by one of the UK’s leading Blacksmiths Alan Dawson.
